Please note the following:

  1. We welcome you to this years exciting Trackcar Weekend. As usual we are trying to make this another safe and efficient event. The Railroad is a "Good Neighbor" and respects abutters concerns about noise. Please no starting after 8PM or before 8AM and never any horns in the yard. This seemed to work out very well last year and we thank you.
  2. On this web site you will find the schedule, registration form, information on the bar-b-que and Cafe Lafayette Dinner Train, safety vest purchase, 20th anniversary jacket and hotel registration form.
  3. The registration form should be sent to Paul Yorkis, 159 Main Street, Medway, MA 02053.
  4. The hotel registration form MUST be sent DIRECT to the hotel. Comfort Inn & Suites, PO Box 519, Lincoln, NH 03251 or call them at 888-589-8112.
  5. All rules and regulations established by the state of New Hampshire Railroad Bureau will be strictly enforced.
  6. Inspection of Trackcars Please make sure your car is fully operational prior to the meet. No broken glass, two red flags, safety vest for the operator and each crew member, all lights in working condition, no leaks in fuel line or tank, chain fully lubricated, brakes fully operational, no defective wheels, and a mechanism to prevent turn tables from falling.
  7. Home Made track cars must be authorized before you register.
  8. Hyrail Vehicles must calibrate the hyrail gear prior to the meet. Long wheelbase hyrail vehicles will not be permitted to operate. If you have any questions regarding hyrail gear please call Paul Yorkis between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
  9. The State has required that the distance between the first car and last car can be no greater than thirty (30) minutes.
  10. Commemorative mugs have been ordered. Two mugs will be available for each registrant as long as the supply lasts. Extra mugs will be sold, if available, after each registrant has received two mugs.
  11. No shirt orders will be accepted as part of late registrations or at the meet. If you want a shirt, you must order it now.
  12. RV Overnight Parking is available at no cost on the railroad grounds. Please inquire if you need such accomodations.
  13. Add'l RV Overnight Parking is usually also available in Tilton at the Walmart just off Rt 93 at Exit 20 for Sunday convenience. Walmart has been using this policy nationwide but I would inquire first to assure youself that they allow it in Tilton., NH.
  14. Each operator is responsible for the conduct of each crew member on his or her track car. When members of the public see the track cars they believe you are associated with the railroad.
  15. No alcohol is permitted to be consumed during the operating hours of the event and may not be transpoted on or within a track car. NORAC Rule G applies to this event.
  16. A waiver form. The State of New Hampshire, The Hobo and the Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroads and agents of these organizations will require each participant to sign a waiver form. Should you be unwilling to sign such a waiver then you will not be permitted to participate.
  17. The Flying Yankee occupies a great deal of our former large yard. We will come up with a plan to work around this but in if you are interested check it out at FlyingYankee.com
