The Hobo/Winnipewsaukee Railroad have been running these excursions for 20 years and "they wrote the book" on how to have a wonderful enjoyable and well planned Foliage Tour in New England.

We take care of all the details from large to small to make your trip enjoyable and interesting. On the 4 hour and all day tours We ensure that free beverages snacks are available, questions are answered, bathrooms are onboard for your use, the meal is superb, a mile by mile description brochure is provided, with stops at historic and interesting places, passengers are free to move about, and we make sure our windows are clean and open for photography. Although smoking is not allowed on the train, there are at least two stops along the way for a break. This is a guarantee that we uphold each and every year.

Foliage Trains make great gifts for those that enjoy the once a year New Hampshire colorful spectacular. Some even prefer the fall season to the peak summer tourist season. Fall Foliage is another complete season in New Hampshire with accomodations and attractions open.

FROM LINCOLN - 1 HOUR 20 MIN. RND TRIP Through 10/19 - 11AM & 1PM
The Hobo Railroad is running scheduled scenic foliage trains with a view of the foliage along the Pemigewasett River. Round trip is 80 minutes with snacks or lunch on sale. Order the Hobo Picnic Lunch and enjoy yourself on your foliage tour. Coaches are heated, most with tables. FROM MEREDITH OR WEIRS BEACH 1 or 2 HOUR RND TRIP Through 10/19
 The Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad operates their tour along the lake. It views Lake Winnipesaukee & the Foliage with snacks or lunch or The Famous "Hobo Picnic Lunch" available for purchase. Coaches are heated and some have tables and train is restroom equiped. This train follows our normal summer lakeside route and schedule. Handicapped Lift at Meredith only. MEREDITH TO LIVERMORE FALLS  4 HOUR ROUND TRIP

11 AM to 3 PM Description $49.00 Adult / $25.00 Child. By reservation. All Tickets are Round Trip and include a HOT BUFFET at The Common Man Inn and snacks and beverages enroute. Each year we sell out so reserve early. Great views of rocky gorges and falls and dont miss the derelict bridge at Livemore Falls. Restroom equipped. Several stops enroute. This is an added seasonal route that leaves Meredith towards the north climbing Ashland Hill and ending in the White Mountains at Livermore Falls.

First Class upgrades you from a coach to a private Pullman Car, "Cold Harbor" with couches, easy chairs, kitchen and bathroom facilities. Ticket price is $79 which includes the Hot buffet at The Common Man Inn and snacks and beverages enroute. Details on First Class are below.

President Class Ride in the former President's Car #103 from the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad.Enjoy this for our 4 Hour Foliage Tour for $95.00 including a HOT BUFFET at The Common Man Inn and snacks and beverages enroute. This was a Piano Parlor Car that traveled attached to the President's Car for its easy chairs and couches. More Details below.

MEREDITH TO LINCOLN ROUND TRIP 9/27 & 10/4
11 AM to 6:30 PM Description $69.00 Adult / $29.00 Child. By reservation. All Tickets are Round Trip and include a HOT BUFFET at The Common Man Inn and snacks and beverages enroute. See one of NH's longest doublespan covered bridge at Campton, Beebe River logging town and Campton. Get off at station in Lincoln, NH right in the heart of the White Mountains for a brief stop. Several stops enroute. Full day of fun on your "private train" (Restroom Equipped) Snack service on return. This is a seasonal route that we operate only twice a year from Meredith north through Livermore Falls and travels an additional 20 miles to reach the end of the line and home of the Hobo Railroad that operates out of Lincoln, NH. More About   First Class   In the Pullman Car "Cold Harbor"

Ride in and enjoy the Pullman Lounge Car "Cold Harbor". Comfortable seating 15 in easy chair seats, couches, and dining room chairs. Your own Car Steward will be onboard for extra service. An opportunity at living the elegance and class once enjoyed only by the Railroad Barons in the past.

This car has a lounge area, dining room, kitchen and full restrooms with running water. Climate controlled and it also features some sliding windows as well as a full vestibule with dutch door for picture taking or just viewing. The ticket price of $99.00 for the All Day Tour and $79.00 each for the Four Hour Tour includes a Hot Buffet at The Common Man and First Class Service also includes some special snacks, treats and beverages enroute served by your own Car Steward. This car may be reserved for the price of 15 First Class Tickets, making this your private car for the day with your own guests.

More About   Presidents Class    in the Piano Parlor Car "Determination"

Truly a Presidents Car. An opportunity at living the elegance and class once enjoyed only by Railroad Barons in the past. Ride in the former President's Car #103 from the Bangor and Aroostook Railroad. It seats comfortably about 30 in easy chair seats and couches. Anemities include a Yamaha Electronic Piano for your entertainment in a quiet, smooth, comfortable, setting with picture windows surrounding you. This Pullman Car is climate controlled with full restroom with hot and cold running water as well as your own car steward onboard. Enjoy this for our all day ride for $130.00 which also includes the Hot Buffet at The Common Man Inn in Plymouth. Also available for our 4 Hour trip at $99.00 (see 4 Hour Description above). You can also charter the whole car for your group.and Presidents Class Service includes some special snacks, treats and beverages enroute served by your own Car Steward.
